Invite Dana to Speak
I speak to women who are tired in a way sleep doesn’t touch—faithful women worn out from trying to keep every part of life perfectly balanced, and quietly ashamed that they can’t. I’ve been that woman. I come with humor, honesty, and a message that finally lets her lay the impossible scale down.
I’m a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I speak from inside my faith—scripture-grounded, Christ-centered, and careful with doctrine. The message also speaks plainly to any woman who has ever felt she was failing at all of it, and Christian women’s groups are warmly welcome.
Balance Lies, Harmony Lives (about 35 minutes, comfortably adapted from 20 to 40) lovingly retires the scale and offers a truer picture: a life conducted by Jesus Christ, where every season has its instrument and no woman stands at the front of her orchestra alone. It opens with humor—the afternoon I fired the manager of my own life in a church parking lot—and ends in testimony, with a tender center drawn from a month at my husband’s hospital bedside, held with hope rather than heaviness. A shorter version is available for smaller slots. Nothing is sold or promoted at the event.
It fits a Relief Society evening, a ward or stake fireside, a stake women’s conference, or a Christian women’s gathering—and I’m always glad to coordinate length and emphasis with you.
I would be honored to be part of your event. The best way to reach me is directly. Tell me a little about your group and the evening you’re planning, and we’ll find the shape that serves your women best.
For Event Inquiries
Balance is a scale, and anything that lives under a scale lives under perpetual judgment.
